Your next step in becoming a certified radKIDS Instructor.
Once you have completed the online Orientation, the Summit is your in person training experience. This training prepares you to deliver radKIDS lessons confidently, lead physical skill instruction, and ensure your school is ready for successful implementation.
Overview
The Summit brings instructors together for hands on practice, team building, and deeper insight into the radKIDS mindset and teaching methods. You will work directly with certified trainers, engage with fellow instructors, and leave with the tools you need to create a safe, empowering learning environment for your students.
What to Expect
During the training, you will:
- Reflect on your teaching strategies and how they align with the radKIDS mindset.
- Review core principles of the radKIDS program.
- Practice key physical resistance techniques.
- Practice using the Behavioral Skills Training (BST) method with activity drills and physical skill techniques.
- Discuss radKIDS-E mental health and mandated reporting responsibilities.
- Navigate the radKIDS LMS, forms, and documentation procedures.
Training includes dedicated physical skill practice blocks, covering all major techniques used in the program, with support from experienced instructors.
You will also receive support with implementation planning, school procedures, and Q&A time to address site specific needs.
